Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Inclusive Education, Psychology, or Education (or equivalent). Additional certifications in Learning Support, SEN, or Inclusive Education are preferred. Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive classroom practices.

Experience Required

3-8 years of experience in a school-based Learning Support or Special Education role. Experience in supporting students through Individualised Learning Plans (ILPs/IEPs), working collaboratively with teachers, counsellors, and families, and monitoring student progress. Experience within international or school environments will be an advantage.

  • Demonstrates strong awareness of contemporary and effective teaching and learning practices, with a genuine curiosity to continually improve instructional approaches.
  • Proficient in the use of technology and able to meaningfully integrate digital tools into both classroom instruction and virtual learning environments.
  • Dedicated to supporting, guiding, and inspiring every student to reach their full potential.
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues and engages with the wider school community in an open-minded, respectful, and professional manner.
  • Possesses a global outlook and values diverse cultures, perspectives, and experiences.
  • Willingly contributes actively to school life beyond the classroom through participation in community activities, student mentorship, and school initiatives.

Application Process

Interested candidates are invited to submit their application by writing to careers@asperion.edu (or the contact provided in the vacancy). As part of the application process, applicants are required to submit a cover letter and an updated CV/Resume including details of at least two professional referees.

By submitting an application, candidates confirm that they understand the school’s safeguarding expectations and are willing to obtain a police clearance certificate to work with children and to sign the required self-declaration related to child safeguarding in accordance with the school’s child protection policies. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next stage of the recruitment process.
